American Softwoods is a partnership between US softwood lumber and building materials associations (The Softwood Export Council, APA-The Engineered Wood Association, and the Southern Forest Products Association) who work together to educate international importers and specifiers about US softwood species and products. We represent U.S. softwood grading agencies, industry trade associations, and US suppliers with a stake in the global trade of softwood lumber and wood-based building materials.
