As industry stakeholders, we share a responsibility to promote sustainable practices across the wood industry — from production to consumption.
In TIWF 2024, the TIWF Sustainable Reforestation Program was launched as a commitment to preserving and strengthening Thailand’s forest ecosystems. The initiative focused on restoring healthy forest structures and supporting biodiversity through responsible reforestation efforts.
As part of the program, US$1 was donated for every square meter sold at TIWF 2024 to support reforestation activities in Thailand. In addition, 1,000 economic plants were planted for agricultural reforestation in Kanchanaburi, in collaboration with the Royal Forest Department of Thailand.
Building on this foundation, Thailand International Woodworking & Furniture Exhibition 2026 will continue to develop and expand sustainability programs that support responsible forest management and long-term environmental impact.
